Officers from Stockton’s Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) arrested a man and seized an electric motorbike after it attempted to make off from police.
The vehicle was seized by officers on Bader Avenue in Thornaby at around 5.45pm on Sunday 3rd September after it drove off and collided with the police vehicle.
A quantity of Class A and B drugs, believed to be cocaine and cannabis, and a machete were also seized.
An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs, possession of an offensive weapon, drug driving, driving with no insurance and driving with no licence.
He currently remains in police custody.
