Officers have charged a 22-year-old man with a number of reported offences following an incident in Yarm on Saturday 9th September.
The man was charged with offences including assault, possession of a bladed article and assaulting an emergency worker.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court this morning, on Monday 11th September.
