Two men have been charged in connection with 33 alleged offences.
Detectives from Redcar CID, working with colleagues from Redcar & Cleveland Response and Neighbourhood Police Teams, arrested and charged two men following a large number of recent reports of burglary, theft and fraud.
The majority of the theft and commercial burglaries were reported to have occurred in the Guisborough area.
One of the men, 35, was charged with 19 offences and attended Teesside Magistrates' Court yesterday (Monday 11th September) from where he was remanded until his next appearance.
The other man, 25, was charged with 14 offences and is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 12th September).
