Police are appealing for information after a woman aged 76 was robbed on Ragworth Road (near St Joseph’s School) in Stockton.
The incident occurred today, Wednesday 6th September at around 12:45pm when a male on a bicycle approached the victim and grabbed her arm causing her to fall to the ground. He then took her straw bag and shopping bag (containing a purse with bank cards, a mobile phone and house keys).
The male was wearing dark clothing and it is believed he had followed her along Darlington Lane (past Claydon Court flats) prior to the robbery.
Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with dash cam or private cctv footage to please contact Stockton CID on 101 quoting 178307.
