A cannabis farm has been discovered by Middlesbrough Proactive Team officers at a property on Marton Road.
Three rooms containing 116 cannabis plants were discovered, believed to be worth up to £97,500. The plants have been seized after officers attended the property this morning (Monday 29th April).
A 23-year-old man located inside the address was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity. He is currently in police custody.
The electricity supply had been tampered with, creating a potentially dangerous situation which could have possibly led to a fire. This is now being made safe by colleagues from the electricity board.
