Detectives from Redcar CID are investigating an assault on a man and are appealing for information or footage which could help them progress their enquiries.
It happened at around 9pm last night (Thursday 18th April) on Edenhall Grove in the town when a male victim in a vehicle was assaulted by three unknown males.
The man, 33, sustained numerous injuries consistent with a bladed article and he sought hospital treatment. His injuries are not currently believed to be life threatening.
The only description we currently of have of the suspects is that they were all dressed in black clothing.
Anyone with information or CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage is asked to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 070807.
