A bike suspected to be stolen was recovered from the beach near to Brus Tunnel on Bank Holiday Monday, 1 April, at around 6pm.
Two boys had been spotted riding on the bike and a motorbike on the beach, before the two dumped the pedal cycle and made off on the motorbike.
Neighbourhood officers are asking anyone who knows who the bike belongs to call 101, quoting SE24058952.
