A man was arrested and charged in connection with an incident in Stockton following Proactive Team patrols.
Officers were conducting patrols in Tilery, Stockton, on Sunday 14th April when they observed suspicious activity in the Douglas Walk area.
As officers approached a group of people, one man reportedly made off from the scene and was detained a short time later.
A quantity of Class A drugs, believed to be £500 worth of crack cocaine, was seized and the man was arrested and subsequently charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The 37-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday 15th April).
