A man has been charged after a cannabis farm was located by officers from Middlesbrough's Proactive Team.
Officers attended an address on Marton Road, Middlesbrough, on Monday 29th April and recovered 116 cannabis plants, believed to be worth up to £97,500.
The electricity supply had been tampered with and this has now been made safe by colleagues from the electricity board.
A 23-year-old man has since been charged with producing cannabis and abstracting electricity and he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
