Proactive Team officers in Middlesbrough arrested two males on suspicion of drugs offences yesterday evening (Tuesday 23rd April).
A 17-year-old male was arrested on Park Vale Road around 5pm after officers believed he was acting suspiciously and carried out a search of him.
A quantity of suspected cocaine was recovered and the male was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. He was later bailed whilst enquiries continue.
A second man, aged 24, was also suspected of behaving suspiciously on Esk Street in North Ormesby around 6:30pm.
The man was allegedly found in possession of suspected crack cocaine, cash and a mobile phone.
The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 24th April, charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of criminal property.
