A second person has been charged with attempted murder and aggravated burglary following a reported incident on Parkfield Way, Stockton, on Sunday 7th April.
A 45-year-old man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today (Thursday 11th April).
Yesterday, Wednesday 10th April, a 32-year-old woman appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court charged with attempted murder and aggravated burglary.
Two other males aged 21 and 24 arrested on suspicion of attempted murder have been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
A 20-year-old man suffered serious injuries and remains in a critical condition in hospital.
