The 17-year-old boy was arrested on Wednesday 24 April on suspicion of criminal damage.
Upon his arrest a quantity of cannabis was seized, and he was detained on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs.
He was subsequently charged with both offences and appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Thursday 25 April.
The charge for criminal damage relates to an incident on Saturday 13 January where a suspect entered the garden of a property on Erskine Road in Hartlepool and alleged to have thrown a stone causing damage to a large window and the kitchen.
