Van driven into property in Thornaby

At 5pm on Friday 19 April police were called to reports of a van driving into a house on Vulcan Way in Thornaby.

The driver got out of the vehicle and fled the scene prior to officers arriving.

There were no occupants inside the property at the time.

An investigation is currently ongoing to establish the circumstances and to identify the driver.
