Just before 3.50pm yesterday (Friday 2nd August) police received several calls reporting two males in possession of bladed weapons in the High Newham Road area of Stockton.
On officers’ arrival they learned a man in his 40s had been taken to hospital by our ambulance service colleagues. This man had sustained non-life threatening injuries.
An area search was carried out, however unfortunately officers were unable to locate any suspect.
Enquiries are ongoing and we would appeal for anyone with information, doorbell/dashcam/cctv footage which could assist to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 146938.
