Seven men have attended Teesside Magistrates’ Court today, charged in connection with events in Hartlepool this week.
Five of those men, aged between 33 and 47 (four from Hartlepool and one from Newcastle) have been further remanded in custody until their next court appearance on 2nd September.
Two men, 28 and 54, and both from Hartlepool pleaded guilty at court to violent disorder and have been released on conditional bail until their next appearance.
A 39-year-old woman who earlier today was charged with violent disorder is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on 3rd September.
