Detectives have made five more arrests as they continue to investigate disorder in Hartlepool and Middlesbrough.
Three men, two aged 24 and one aged 27, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in relation to the incident in Middlesbrough on Sunday 4th August. They both remain in police custody.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in relation to the incident in Hartlepool on Wednesday 31st July. He remains in police custody.
A 21-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of violent disorder in Hartlepool as well as obstructing an officer. He was conditionally bailed while enquiries continue.
