The men were detained as part of the force’s ongoing investigation into the disorder that occurred in Hartlepool on Wednesday 31 July.
Their arrests took place today (Sunday 11 August) by our Matrix team who were supporting the ongoing operation by conducting arrest attempts.
All the men, aged 22, 38 and 42, were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and are currently in police custody awaiting questioning.
So far, officers have arrested 71 people, charged 50 and sentenced six men and one woman for both Hartlepool and Middlesbrough disorders.
Detectives are still seeking the identity of numerous men and women they want to speak to in relation to the disorder.
While some of them have been identified following information provided by members of the public, officers are continuing to appeal for people to get in touch including those who feature on the images themselves.
Assistant Chief Constable David Felton said: “For those who chose to take part in the violent disorder across Teesside, my message to you is this – don’t think that because you have not been arrested yet that you won’t be. You will. You will be arrested, charged and put before the courts. There is nowhere to hide.
“Our officers will continue to engage with all corners of the community, and I would encourage anyone with any concerns to speak to officers in your area.”
