People from all corners of the community in Hartlepool pulled together yesterday, following the events that unfolded on Wednesday evening.
Neighbourhood Officers conducted patrols in Murray Street, Brougham Terrace and the surrounding areas on Thursday, and will continue to do so in the coming days.
Chief Inspector Pete Littlewood and PC Geoff Coggin visited the Nasir Mosque, The Salaam Centre and The Annexe to discuss what happened and offer some reassurance.
