Officers from Stockton’s neighbourhood policing team acted on information received by members of the public and executed a warrant on Thursday 29 August.
The cannabis farm is estimated to be worth approximately £120,000.
Chief Inspector Dan Heron, from Stockton’s neighbourhood policing team, said: “While our enquiries are ongoing, we want to take this opportunity to encourage the local community to keep recognising the signs of drug activity believed to be occurring in their area and to report it.
“Information can be provided by calling Cleveland Police on 101 or if reticent to come forward, to contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
