A substantial cannabis farm, believed to be worth up to £220,000, has been located in South Bank by officers from Greater Eston's Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT).
Officers received a report of men acting suspiciously near to a property on Middlesbrough Road in South Bank on Monday 12th August.
Following enquiries, officers located a substantial cannabis farm across multiple non-occupied premises.
In total, 263 cannabis plants were located with an upper estimated value of approximately £220,000.
A 44-year-old man was arrested and charged with cultivation of cannabis. He was remanded into police custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (13th August) where he was further remanded.
