A man has been charged after a suspected drug deal was spotted by officers in Middlesbrough.
Around 7:15pm on Friday 30th August, officers in Laycock Park spotted suspicious activity carried out by a male on an electric motorbike.
The man made off on the bike but was arrested after a short pursuit, which led to a bridge over the A66 close to St Aidens Court.
Suspected class A drugs and cash believed to be worth over £3,500 in total were recovered after a search took place.
A 22-year-old man was charged with possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession of criminal property and assaulting an emergency worker.
The man was due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Saturday 31st August.
