Officers are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged and the registration plates were stolen in Rossmere in Hartlepool overnight between Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th December.
The owner of the car, who is in her 70s, had parked the silver Nissan Micra at 3pm yesterday afternoon on Kilmarnock Road, near to Laird Road. This morning, she found that her car had been damaged to the door, the door handle and the wiper blades, and the registration plates had been stolen.
