Arrest on Coronation Street, Carlin How

Officers from Redcar and Cleveland attended Coronation Street in Carlin How to arrested a wanted man shortly after 2am this morning, Wednesday 11^th December.

Upon police arrival, the man climbed out of a window and onto the roof of the premises and threw objects at officers. 

Concerned for the safety of the man on the roof, a negotiator was called to the scene whilst specialist officers monitored the situation with a drone. 

Eventually, officers were able to talk the 31-year-old man down from the roof and he was promptly arrested and taken into police custody for questioning.

The property was later searched and two air weapons were seized.
