A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after he was stopped this morning as part of our ongoing seasonal drink and drug driving campaign.
Two children were passengers in the vehicle when Matrix Team officers were carrying out checks on drivers on Corporation Road Redcar just after 9am.
The man has been taken to custody and will be questioned.
Our officers are out on patrol across the force and are proactively checking drivers for alcohol and drugs.
REMEMBER...if you're heading out this festive period, please don't get behind the wheel whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
