Two men were arrested and a quantity of drugs were seized after officers from Middlesbrough’s Proactive Team spotted a suspected drug deal.
Whilst on proactive patrols in the Grovehill area of Middlesbrough, officers saw some suspicious activity at around 4.00pm on Tuesday 3rd December.
Officers witnessed a suspected drug deal on the playing field between Bishopton Road and Castle Way by a man on an electric pedal bike.
Using the drone, officers followed the man to an address on Hedingham Close.
Officers attended the scene and arrested two men. They also seized suspected Class B drugs, money and drug paraphernalia.
The two men, aged 38 and 32, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs and they were bailed pending further enquiries.
