Two men have been arrested after a suspected stolen scooter was spotted and then recovered from an address on Alnwick Court, Middlesbrough.
Officers attended the address where a second mini moto was also recovered, and a search led to the recovery of an extendable baton and a large amount of suspected cocaine and heroin.
Two men aged 39 and 54 were arrested on suspicion of theft.
A 39-year-old man was additionally arrested and later charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and two counts of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today (Monday 30th December).
A 54-year-old man remains on police bail.
