The Dedicated Drugs Unit seized crack cocaine and heroin, after officers from the team spotted some suspicious activity on Falmouth Street on Monday 2nd December.
The officers followed a man back to a nearby hotel on Marton Road, before arresting two men in one of the rooms, aged 49 and 24.
Both men were charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 3rd December.
At court they were both remanded in custody until their next appearance at Teesside Crown Court on Tuesday 7th January.
