Whilst carrying out proactive patrols on Sunday 29th December, officers identified a vehicle on Rochester Road in Roseworth carrying an insecure load.
On closer inspection, officers located metal bed frames, loose piping, televisions and plastic water containers freely moving in the rear of the vehicle.
While speaking to the driver, officers also identified that the vehicle did not have a correct and valid policy covering the use of the vehicle.
The van was subsequently seized and the driver was reported for the offences.
Please ensure if you're transporting goods that they're restrained properly and securely to make sure other road users are safe. Drivers have a responsibility to make sure that loads are properly secured.
