Police are appealing for information after a cyclist on an electric bike was seriously injured in a collision at the roundabout junction on Belasis Avenue in Billingham at around 6:15pm yesterday evening, Sunday 4 February.
There were no other vehicles involved in the collision.
The 60-year-old man was taken to James Cook University Hospital where he is being treated for serious head injuries.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage is asked to call Cleveland Police on 101 quoting reference number SE24020878.
