A 39-year-old man is due to appear at court after being charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs following a stop search in Stockton.
Officers from the Stockton Community Action Team (CAT) were carrying out proactive patrols in the Stockton area on Sunday 18th February.
Following intelligence from the public, officers attended the Myrtle Road area of Newtown and a searched a man. They also recovered what is believed to be crack cocaine.
The man was charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today (19th February).
