Police are appealing after a one-vehicle collision involving an electric pedal cycle.
The 60-year-old male cyclist suffered serious injuries when the incident happened on Belasis Avenue in Billingham around 6:10pm on Sunday 4th February.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with CCTV or dash cam of the cyclist riding from the industrial estate onto Belasis Avenue around 6pm on Sunday to get in touch.
The cyclist suffered serious head and facial injuries, internal injuries and a broken arm. He was taken to James Cook University Hospital and remains in hospital.
Anyone who may have footage or anyone who may have witnessed the incident is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting ref number 020878.
