Last month, officers from Guisborough and Greater Eston NPTS deployed multiple units in response to community intelligence about possible county lines drug dealing.
Police then stopped a Fiat Bravo on Redcar Road, Guisborough and searched the car and its occupants.
Two men, aged 25 and 34 and a woman, 33, were arrested after a quantity of suspected heroin was found, along with a bladed weapon and several mobile phones.
They were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
All three were released on bail pending further enquiries.
Acting Neighbourhoods Sergeant John Eeles said: “We will continue to respond to information we receive from the community, particularly around the alleged supply of drugs and we will keep taking action against those suspected of causing harm to our area.”
