Two teenage boys and a 23-year-old man were to appear at court today after being charged in connection with the report of the robbery of a car this weekend.
In the early hours of Sunday 18th February, a driver reported that three males had threatened him at a petrol station in Ormesby before taking his Ford Ka.
Officers from the Matrix Team pursued, located and stopped the vehicle and arrested all three suspects then detectives from Redcar CID took over enquiries, later charging them all with robbery.
The 23-year-old was also charged with various driving offences, possession of Class C drugs, and possession of a bladed article.
Enquiries are ongoing.
