A man has been arrested and a woman charged after suspected crack cocaine was recovered in Middlesbrough.
Proactive Team Officers along with colleagues from Cleveland Police Intelligence Unit responded to community concerns around drugs activity by carrying out proactive patrols in the area of St Johns Close.
A man was searched by police and a subsequent property search also took place, resulting in the seizure of suspected crack cocaine and cash.
A 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs has now been bailed.
A 48-year-old woman has been charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 13th February.
