A 20-year-old man from Stockton appeared at court this morning (Monday 22 January 2024) charged with Section 18 Assault, Possession of an Offensive Weapon and Possession of a S5 Firearm (Pepper Spray), after a 19-year-old man was stabbed in Thornaby.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Saturday 20 January 2024 in the area of Teesside Industrial Estate, Thornaby.
The victim, also from Stockton, sustained injuries which led to him having surgery for a single stab wound.
The 20-year-old will next appear at court in February 2024.
