Cleveland Police is appealing for information following a single-vehicle collision in Hartlepool.
The incident occurred at around 7.35pm on Friday 12th January on the A689 towards Hartlepool from Greatham and involved a black Audi Q7.
Two children were seriously injured while a third child suffered minor injuries and they were all taken to hospital.
A 26-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and was bailed pending further enquiries.
Officers are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area of the A689 around the time of the incident and may have witnessed or captured the incident on dashcam to call 101, quoting 006990.
