Cleveland Police is appealing for witnesses and information following a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in Middlesbrough.
The incident occurred on Allendale Road, Ormesby, outside St Gabriel's Catholic Primary School at around 8.35am on Tuesday 9th January.
It involved a black Vauxhall Astra and a young child who was taken to James Cook University Hospital with a broken leg.
Enquires are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone with information or any relevant dash cam to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 004879.
