Officers investigating a fail to stop collision are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch.
The incident happened on Sunday 26th January at 07.12am when an Audi A1 was on Normanby Road going towards the A66.
A grey vehicle (make, model and registration number are currently unknown) came from the junction of Hampden Street, collided with the Audi and was then driven from the scene.
The woman driving the Audi sustained a fracture to her right wrist and bruising to her ribs and was treated at James Cook University Hospital. Her vehicle sustained heavy damage to the front.
