Officers are appealing for information and any witnesses following a robbery in Middlesbrough.
The incident happened on Linthorpe Road, near The Swatters Carr, on Thursday 25th January 2024 between 11.00pm and 11.15pm.
It was reported that a man and a woman have approached the male victim asking for money.
The male victim has then been assaulted by the man by being punched whilst the woman has attempted to steal his mobile phone.
The male suspect is described as white, of medium build, aged between 36 and 40, and around 5ft 10” tall with short black hair. He was wearing a sweatshirt, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
The female is described as white, aged around 40, around 5 ft 4” tall with reddish blonde hair.
