A report was received of an altercation on Harvard Avenue, Stockton, near to Stockton Riverside College around 12:40pm today (Thursday 25th January).
A number of males reportedly jumped out of a taxi and assaulted two males by punching them.
One male suffered a swollen eye and another suffered a minor injury to his knee. No one required hospital treatment.
A 16-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and possession of class C drugs and has been taken into custody.
