Detectives charge man in connection with burglary in Hartlepool

The 32-year-old, from Melrose Street in Hartlepool, was arrested on Tuesday 23 January and subsequently charged with burglary.
He appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday 24 January).
The charge relates to a burglary that occurred at a property in Wordsworth Avenue on Sunday 21 January 2024 when items of jewellery were stolen. Some of the stolen items have been recovered and returned to their owners.
