Our Proactive Team officers, joined by PD Benji, acted on intelligence from the local community and executed a drugs warrant in Redcar last night.
They forced entry to a house on Muriel Street just after 7.45pm and recovered suspected Class A and Class B drugs.
Whilst no arrests were made at the time, enquiries are ongoing and neighbourhood police teams will continue to work with landlords, the local community and our colleagues at Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council to resolve any on-going issues at the address.
We would appeal for anyone with information to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number, quoting ref 002194.
If you don’t want to speak to police, you can pass information anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by phoning them on 0800 555 111.
