Scales and a knife were seized from a house in Gloucester Street in Hartlepool this morning, when officers from the Neighbourhood Team and the Proactive Team executed a drugs warrant at the address yesterday.
This was an intelligence-led operation, following information received from people in the community about drug dealing activity in and around the address.
Sergeant Phelen of Hartlepool Neighbouhoods said: “I’d like to thank the community for coming forward with information and for your continued support, which has enabled officers to build intelligence to target the address.
“Drugs activity can impact on the whole community, and we want to work with you to disrupt and dismantle these groups to make your neighbourhood a safer place to live.”
“Anyone who notices suspicious behaviour in their community can call 101 to provide details of what is happening. All information provided is treated seriously and with discretion.”
