The family of a man who sadly died following a collision in Hartlepool have paid tribute to him.
38-year-old Robert Herring, known as Robbie, sadly died after the collision on the A689 on Friday evening, 4th January, around 9:05pm.
Robert’s family described him as a “loving son, brother and father of two children.”
They added: “We would like to thank all of the emergency services who attended and the members of the public who were at the scene.”
Our thoughts remain with Robert’s family at this extremely difficult time.
Officers continue to appeal to anyone who may have been in the area of the A689 at Newton Bewley around 9:05pm on Friday 5th January and may have witnessed the collision or may have dash cam footage which could assist the ongoing police investigation.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting event number 002914.
