You might see our Firearm Officers out and about across the county today – but there is no need to be alarmed!
Our Firearms Officers are conducting important training to help to prepare them for real-life firearms incidents. This training is something our specialist teams do regularly, and it’s not in relation to any specific threat.
You might see activity including stops of vehicles by firearms officers, and vehicles travelling in convoy, but this is part of the training so no need to worry.
If you do have any concerns about crime and want to report information to Cleveland Police, please call us on 101.
