Whilst on patrol, officers spotted a suspected stolen vehicle at around 9.15pm on Monday 15th January in Stockton.
The vehicle reportedly failed to stop for officers and collided with two vehicles before it came to a stop on Beaconsfield Road in Norton.
Two males reportedly made off from the scene and, with the help of the National Police Air Service, a 16-year-old male was detained.
The male was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and dangerous driving. He was bailed pending further enquiries.
