Officers from Stockton Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) seized a parcel containing suspected cannabis at around 10.45am on Tuesday 9th January.
Later that day, officers attended an address in Billingham linked to the parcel and located a small cannabis grow.
A 27-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class B drugs and cultivation of cannabis. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
