Suspected drugs were seized and a 19-year-old man was arrested by Proactive Team officers in Middlesbrough today (Wednesday 31st January).
Officers seized suspected class A drugs believed to be crack cocaine and suspected cannabis on Deepdale Avenue, after police witnessed suspicious activity and a man made off.
After a foot pursuit, officers arrested a 19-year-old man in connection with suspected drugs offences and he remains in police custody at this time.
Cash was also recovered during a search of him.
Officers would appeal to the public to contact police or Crimestoppers anonymously to report drugs activity in their local areas.
