A man has been charged and another bailed whilst enquiries continue after a drugs warrant was carried out in Middlesbrough on Friday 12th January.
Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Team officers carried out the warrant at a property on Marton Grove Road in Grove Hill.
A large quantity of suspected heroin and cocaine were seized, along with cash, phones and a baseball bat.
A man aged 39 has been charged and another aged 47 bailed after being arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
The 39-year-old man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Monday 15th January.
Acting Sergeant Dan Smythe, from Middlesbrough Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We will always act upon information around suspected drugs activity, as we work to tackle issues affecting residents daily lives and reduce crime and antisocial behaviour.
“Anyone who has information regarding drugs activity in their local area is urged to contact us, so that we can take the appropriate action.”
