Officers from Middlesbrough CID arrested a 14-year-old boy on suspicion of driving offences after a motorbike reportedly failed to stop for police.
Whilst conducting night-time patrols in Hemlington on Tuesday evening (23rd January) to tackle violent crime and drug dealing, officers sighted a suspicious motorbike.
The vehicle reportedly failed to stop for officers but the rider was detained a short time later by plain clothed officers.
A 14-year-old boy was later charged and bailed to court for driving with no licence and driving with no insurance.
